Nancy Nolan has "... stage presence, great power, phrasing, and -most importantly - control, always managing to land on the right note no matter how intricate the phrase." -- Earshot Jazz

Running time: TBA with one intermission
Recommended for ages 13 and above.

"Please join me for a warm evening of great music! I will be performing "in consort" with a stellar quartet of Northwest jazz artists: Karin Kajita, piano; Jim Knodle, trumpet and flugelhorn; Dan O'Brien, bass; and Don Berman, drums and percussion. The ever luminous and entertaining, David Ossman, will also be bringing a knowing wink of be-bop fables to the stage. I'll be singing some of my favorites from The Great American Songbook, vintage and contemporary standards, selections from my recent cabaret shows at Seattle 's ACT Theatre, and some hand-picked gems just for my Islands friends. The concert will be recorded for a "live" CD from WICA. Come be part of the live audience and help me warm up the room!" -- Nancy Nolan

The Artists

Nancy Nolan, a Seattle native, is a seasoned artist and musician. She has performed, solo and with trios and quartets, extensively throughout the United States , Canada , Japan and Europe in both Jazz clubs and Musical Theater. After taking a few dedicated years off to devote in raising her daughter, she returned to her music career full force and recently sang at The Metropolitan Room in New York City and at Seattle's ACT Theatre in the Bullitt Cabaret Room.
